Mini Cookies
from
The Elf on the Shelf
Looks like the Elf has been baking while we're asleep!
I'm pretty sure he used the recipe mentioned on my previous post,
The little ones really liked these tiny sugar cookies! Mommy's like them too because they are sooooo small they can let the kids have 2 or 3 without getting too sugared-up!
I decided to make a few cookies, myself! These melting snowman turned out so nice last year I decided to make them again. These are sugar cookies topped with melted wafer 'frosting' and a marshmallow. I apply the frosting (candy wafers are melted in the microwave) with a small round icing tip, with the exception of the eyes which are applied by dipping a toothpick in the frosting and poking/dotting on the marshmallow. I put the cookies in individual clear plastic bags (dollar store) and give them away to anyone with kids. Here's a link to more details and recipes
from last years' post...
A special HELLO to Natasha!
